Hey Leute! Let's talk about the RØDE Wireless GO II – this little microphone has seriously changed my game. I used to struggle SO much with audio when filming on the go. Wind is the enemy of good audio. Period. I’ve used a cheap foam windscreen, and while it helps, it ain't perfect. For really windy days, invest in a deadcat (that fluffy windscreen). It's more expensive, but totally worth it for clean audio. Trust me on this one. It's like night and day. The difference is huge!

Batterie-Management

This is something I really messed up at first. I forgot to charge the mics before filming once… yeah, let's just say I had to start over. Now, I always check the battery level before I even think about hitting record. The RØDE Wireless GO II shows you the battery life on the receiver screen, which is really handy. You can also easily monitor your battery levels in the app.

Software-Optionen

Don't underestimate the power of post-production audio editing. Even with great mics, you sometimes need to tweak stuff. I use Audacity (it's free!), which is pretty user-friendly.
